UK Finance Website Accessibility Report - Q3 2008

Our ninth quarterly report into the accessibility and performance of UK Financial Services websites, carried out in partnership with leading accessibility testing provider Sitemorse.

This report tests the accessibility and performance of approximately 1000 of the UK’s Finance and Legal company websites including Retail and Wholesale Banks, Insurance, Investment, Consumer Finance and Professional Services companies.

Key Findings 

• 354,060 URLs were tested
• 115,449,906 tests in total were conducted
• 42.3% of pages tested failed basic A W3C Accessibility  
• 116 websites failed A W3C standards on every page
