Introduction
To make sure we can give our customers the best possible service to implement our software, we've spent a long time refining and improving our procedures. The end result is the Mediasurface Implementation Methodology (MIM). This methodology enables us to offer a structured and sensible phased implementation process, which in turn helps our customers to forecast resource and time requirements much more accurately, as well as 'built-in' quality and control checkpoints to coordinate project activities that have a common goal. The methodology breaks the whole implementation project into 3 smaller sub-projects - Definition, Build and Transition.
During a particular project phase, the project team will be simultaneously executing tasks from several processes. Using this process, your project will be methodically managed through from detailing your requirements, developing the overall solution plan, creating the working solution to deploying the new system.
The Mediasurface approach, like the Mediasurface product set, is not restrictive – it maintains the flexibility needed to meet your specific requirements and to accommodate continual market and industry changes.
The following pages explain a little more about each of the phases - Definition, Build and Transition.
